This is the first book Christopher Wira has published about Catholic Contemplative Prayer. It covers a wide range of topics such as the Seven Kingdoms, the dark night of the soul, the three pillars of the Church, as well as some of the ways evil works to dissuade a person from following God.
The contemplative journey begins when a person is baptized into the Catholic faith. At that moment, the Holy Spirit lifts the individual into the first Kingdom and from there a new life begins.
The book is 125 pages long and has been written for both higher level contemplatives, as well as people that are not aware they have been called to contemplative prayer.
It is currently available on Amazon as a soft cover. Soon, a hard cover and kindle digital version will also be available. Click on the book cover picture above or the link below to go the to the amazon listing.
This is an orchestral piece of music that I was inspired to compose over fifteen years ago. In musical form it tells the story of God creating the angels followed by all the beauty and ugliness that resulted. It concludes with the Arc Angel Michael casting into the void and darkness all those that have turned against God and each other.
Within the music is a very specific story which I will post here at a later time. Each musical instrument is linked to a specific Member of God, as well as the angels and those that chose evil. Such as, The Father is represented by the piano, Jesus is represented by the guitar. The Holy Spirit is found throughout the orchestral instruments along with the angels. Satan is found in the orchestral instruments but has not yet defined itself yet.
The piece is a little over 42 minutes in length and is available on Spotify as well as other music sites.
